Protect a private status page

Set the page visibility to private, then configure one or more supported access methods in the page settings.

You can set a password, limit requests to allowed email domains, and add invited viewers.

Visitors who do not have a valid private-page access session see the access gate instead of monitor or Incident data.

An eligible visitor can request an access link by email.

Private status pages are available on Pro and Max plans.

A visitor who supplies the configured password receives an HttpOnly access cookie scoped to that status-page route.

Private-page responses use no-store caching rules.

The access gate shows only methods authorized by the page and current workspace capabilities.

SSO/SAML is not currently available through the public status-page access flow.

Failed password, access-request, or access-link attempts return generic retry guidance without exposing protected page data.

If no access method is enabled, the gate tells the visitor to ask the page owner to enable one.
